Microneedling Treatment

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilised needles. The small wounds cause your body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger. You might also hear it called collagen induction therapy.

During the microneedling procedure, high grade Hyaluronic acid is also placed on the skin with the microneedling device used to migrate this into the dermis of the skin.

About

This is a solution of non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid of medium molecular weight, specially designed to obtain long-lasting results. Hyaluronic acid has the capacity to retain water in a percentage equivalent to thousands of times its molecular weight, providing volume and skin hydration. It activates fibroblasts and the synthesis of collagen, as well as various skin growth factors slowing down the ageing processes. The particular product I use, TKN HA MW 2%, has long-term firming and moisturising properties, providing an immediate smoothing effect.
